New wooden sash windows – Uxbridge

• Windows: a sash bay window on the ground floor and two first floor sash windows, all with cords & weights balancing. The windows were made from Meranti, Indonesian hardwood  
• Glazing: 24mm (4/16Ar/4) Argon filled double glazing with toughened glass
• Style: ‘Two over two’, Victorian style sliding sash bay with single sixed side panels and two single sliding sash windows
• Finish: Windows spray painted factory finish in Farrow & Ball ‘vert de Terre’ on the exterior and Farrow & Ball ‘Cream’ on the interior

The property is a Victorian semi-detached home in Uxbridge. Sashed replace all the windows in the front of the property, including a bay window on the ground floor and two sash windows on the first floor. The bay window has fixed side panels and an opening centre sash with restrictors for added security. The windows have 17mm lamb bars and beading and white warm-edge spacers. All items were factory spray painted, which gives them a highly durable finish that when kept free of dirt and pollution should not need repainting for at least 10 years.
