Hardwood Sash Windows – Bermondsey

• Glazing: Conservation area 18mm (4/10/4) Argon filled glazing with toughened glass

• Finish: Spray painted factory finish in cool white (RAL 9016) on the exterior and interior.

The property in South Bermondsey is a 1990’s Victorian reproduction style terraced house. Sashed replaced all of the windows, which although only 20 years old had not been factory finished so had deteriorated over time. The client chose meranti, a hardwood, for its longevity as well as the beautiful wood grain. The windows were all spray painted in the factory in cool white (RAL 9016), which gives them a highly durable finish that will not need repainting for at least 10 years.
